This silky chocolate dessert is perfect for party serving and is easy to whip up in a blender in about 10 minutes.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 255 g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 6 yolks from large eggs
- 5 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Place the chocolate in a blender. In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the milk, 1 cup of cream, egg yolks, granulated sugar, and salt over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally with a heatproof spatula, for 5-6 minutes, until the mixture is thick enough to coat the spatula and just barely simmering.
- Immediately pour the milk mixture over the chocolate in the blender. Cover and hold the lid with a thick kitchen towel. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. Divide the chocolate mixture among ramekins or small bowls and refrigerate for about 2 hours to set.
- Beat the remaining 1/2 cup of cream and powdered sugar in a mixer or blender until soft peaks form. Top each serving of pudding with whipped cream.
