This recipe will help make smoked natural pork chops on the bone even more delicious. To glaze the pork, prepare a glaze marinade using honey, brown sugar, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. This delicious, tart-sweet mixture will coat the smoked pork chops with a stunning crust, adding juiciness and a unique flavor, complete with the intoxicating aroma of a charcoal grill. Marinating the meat takes just 20 minutes, and grilling for a couple of minutes on each side is all you need. The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil + extra for greasing grill grates
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 thin (about 1 cm each) smoked pork chops on the bone

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a plastic bag large enough to hold all the cutlets, combine the sugar, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Add the pork cutlets and marinate for at least 20 minutes.

  3. Remove the pork from the marinade. Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the patties on the grill and cook until grill marks appear, about 2 minutes. Rotate the patties 90 degrees and cook for another 2 minutes to create a grid pattern. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side. Transfer the patties from the grill to a platter and serve.
