This mouth-watering potato casserole, with a golden, crispy crust and a tender, cheesy interior, will captivate everyone with its flavor. Your guests won't even guess how easy and hassle-free it is, made almost entirely from pre-made ingredients. Frozen, sliced ​​potatoes are placed in a casserole, topped with pickled pimento peppers, onions, and plenty of grated cheddar cheese. The whole thing is topped with a mixture of canned cheese soup and unsweetened condensed milk, and baked until done. Serve as a side dish or as a main course.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 package (800 g) frozen sliced ​​potatoes
  • 1 can (280 g) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can (140 g) of unsweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (55g) chopped pimento peppers
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 and 1/4 cups grated cheddar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a medium casserole with cooking spray; set aside.
  2. Microwave the potatoes according to package directions for 5 minutes. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cheese soup and evaporated milk until smooth. Arrange half the potatoes in the bottom of the prepared casserole.

  3. Layer half the pimento peppers, onion, soup mixture, and grated cheddar. Repeat layers. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until bubbly.
