The main ingredient in a soft blondie is brown sugar, which gives the baked goods a delicious caramel color and flavor. Other than that, you'll only need flour, eggs, butter, salt, and baking soda—all ingredients found in almost any kitchen. You can add fillings to the blondie: chocolate chips, peanut butter, or toffee, depending on what you have on hand. Mixing up the fillings will make it even more delicious!

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 190°C. Grease and flour a 22x32cm glass baking dish.
- Place the sugar in a large bowl. Melt the butter in a small frying pan or in a glass bowl in the microwave. Stir the butter into the sugar until completely incorporated, then cool to room temperature.
- Meanwhile, in another medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir the eggs and vanilla extract into the sugar mixture. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until a thick, smooth dough forms. Stir in any chocolate chips, peanut butter, or toffee.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out to evenly fill the pan. Bake until the edges are lightly browned and a toothpick inserted into the center of the blondie comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.
