To quickly make delicious rugelach, you'll need store-bought pie dough and any jam you like. Simply spread a little jam on a circle of dough, cut into thin triangles, roll them up, sprinkle with colored sugar, and bake. You'll have these wonderful baked goods on your table in minutes!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • Decorative blue sugar, for sprinkling
  • Decorative white sugar, for sprinkling
  • 1 sheet chilled pie dough
  • 3 tbsp. jam

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sprinkle a work surface with blue and white sugar. Place a sheet of pie dough on the sugar and press it down. Spread jam evenly over the dough. Cut the circle into 16 triangles. Roll each triangle toward the pointed end, like a croissant. Place on a baking sheet, pointed end down.

  3. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack and let cool completely.
