Try not to smile at the sight of these mini hot dog cookies! The recipe is for one serving, but you can make as many as you need. This fun dessert will be a blast to make with the kids.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 vanilla wafer cookie
  • White glaze for work
  • 1 small chocolate or cherry chewy candy
  • Yellow gel food coloring
  • 1 green gummy bear
  • Special equipment: a pastry bag with a very small round tip

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of white frosting onto a sheet of parchment paper and spread it into a small circle. To make the hot dog bun, cut a wafer cookie in half. Place the halves cut-side down on top of the white frosting. Place a gummy bear between the halves.
  2. In a small bowl, combine white frosting with yellow food coloring. Transfer the yellow frosting to a pastry bag fitted with a very small round tip. Pipe the yellow frosting onto the gummy bear like mustard on a hot dog. Finely chop the gummy bear and sprinkle it on top like a pickle.
