Feta (cheese)

A brined cheese traditionally made in Greece from sheep's milk with the addition of goat's milk. Feta can also refer to cheeses made partially or entirely from cow's milk. Feta is crumbly, cottage cheese-like, and white in color. It has a salty, milky flavor with a fresh, tart note. It is used in salads and baked goods, and as a table cheese.
