Baked shrimp with tomatoes and feta cheese - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 12 large shrimp (U-10) with shells
  • 450 g fresh tomatoes, peeled, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • Fresh feta cheese
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Rinse the shrimp in cold water and drain. Peel the shrimp, leaving the head and tail on, and discard the shells. Season with salt and pepper.

    Place the shrimp in a large ovenproof baking dish. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onion. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

  • Add the tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. Sauté for one minute. Pour in the wine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Pour this mixture over the shrimp. Sprinkle with cheese. Place in the oven and bake for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parsley.
