To make these delicious, quick toasts, blend fresh tomatoes with garlic and olive oil, then spread the resulting sauce on toasted bread. The finishing touch is shavings of cheese. Use a regular vegetable peeler to get thin, beautiful shavings.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a food processor, puree 1 chopped plum tomato, 1 grated garlic clove, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt.
- Cut 2 mini baguettes in half lengthwise, then in half crosswise. Toast. Spread with tomato mixture, season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with shaved Manchego cheese.
