Scrambled eggs with sausages, peppers and tomatoes - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 4 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 450 g of large diced Loukanika sausages
  • 1 medium red pepper, diced into small cubes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 chopped cloves of garlic
  • 225 g chopped plum tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • Salt and ground black pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and peppers and cook until the sausage begins to brown, about 2-3 minutes. Add the chopped onion and cook, stirring, until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Add the garlic and tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes release their juices, about 5 minutes. Beat in the eggs, sprinkle with green onions, and gently stir with a silicone spatula. Once the eggs are well combined, season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
