Almond and Blueberry Toast - A Detailed Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tbsp almond paste
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract
  • 2 slices of white bread
  • Blueberries or raspberries
  • Powdered sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a bowl, combine almond paste, sugar, butter, egg yolk and almond extract.

    Mix until smooth and spread on bread.
  2. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C until the custard is crusty, about 6 minutes.

    Place blueberries on top of the toast and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
