Save time in the kitchen by using ready-made dough for this simple pizza with sweet onions and marinated shrimp. Add seasonal cherry tomatoes and flavorful feta cheese in the final minutes of cooking, and let it simmer gently under the grill.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 400 g peeled medium shrimp
  • 1 red onion, cut into rings
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for greasing
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • Table salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 450 g of ready-made pizza dough at room temperature
  • 1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 0.5 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, onion, shrimp, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Roll the pizza dough into a rectangle 20 cm by 25 cm. Brush the grill with olive oil. Place the dough on the grill and cook until the top is bubbly and the bottom is browned, about 3 minutes. Remove it with tongs and place it on a cutting board, browned side up. Brush with olive oil.

  3. Grill the shrimp and onions, turning occasionally, until the onions are softened and the shrimp are lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Arrange the onions and shrimp on the crust, then return the pizza to the grill. Top with tomatoes and feta cheese, cover, and grill until the crust is cooked through and the cheese is melted, about 5 more minutes.
  4. Carefully transfer the pizza to a cutting board. Sprinkle with parsley and cut into slices.
