Baked shrimp with sauce - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:


For shrimp:
  • 900 g (12 - 15 pcs.) of sea shrimp
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

For the sauce:
  • 1/2 cup Heinz hot sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp. Heinz ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons of horseradish
  • 2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon, coarsely grated, for sprinkling
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. tabasco sauce
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Prepare the shrimp: Preheat oven to 200°C. Shrimps Remove shells and heads, and discard dark veins. Place the shrimp on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, smoothing out the crust. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the shrimp flesh is pink, about 8-10 minutes. Cool.
  • Step 2
  • Prepare the sauce: Combine hot sauce, ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Tabasco, and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle the shrimp with lemon zest and serve the baked shrimp with the sauce.
