Bang Bang Shrimp

How to Make Bang Bang Shrimp
Time: 20 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 4

Bang Bang Shrimp is a signature appetizer of the American restaurant chain Bonefish Grill. It's crispy breaded shrimp coated in a creamy, sweet and spicy sauce. Anyone who's tried it tries to recreate it at home. And here's one of the most successful versions. It's made with frozen popcorn shrimp (breaded shrimp). Reheat them and toss them with a sauce made from mayonnaise, Thai chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey. Serve as an appetizer on lettuce leaves at house parties or with side dishes as a main course.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package frozen popcorn shrimp (about 500g)
  • 1/4 cup Thai chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1.5 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 4 lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Chopped green onions, for serving
Substituting ingredients
