Spicy Garlic Shrimp in 4 Minutes

How to Make Spicy Garlic Shrimp in 4 Minutes
Kitchen:American,
Menu:Dinner,
Time: 20 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 8

Tender shrimp cooks incredibly quickly, making this seafood delicacy perfect for a special, no-fuss dinner. If you already have peeled shrimp, the cooking process takes just minutes. The shrimp are sautéed in olive oil with garlic cloves and red pepper flakes until pink (don't overcook them!), then tossed with lemon zest, juice, and parsley. No need to mince the garlic: simply crack the cloves to release their flavor. These spicy shrimp can be served as an appetizer, a main course with a side dish, or in salads.

Ingredients:

  • 24 large shrimp with tails, shelled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons grill or steak seasoning, or coarse salt and black pepper
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley leaves, a handful
