Ingredients:

  • 900 gr. unpeeled shrimp without heads
  • 400 mg coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp. red curry paste
  • 0.5 red onion, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro leaves
  • Juice of one lime
  • 2-3 tbsp. l. canola oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat the grill to high. Whisk together the coconut milk, curry paste, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and oil in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and let marinate at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

    Remove the shrimp and grill for 1.5-2 minutes per side. Serve on waxed paper, if desired.
