Cocoa with cardamom and cream - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 6 cups of milk
  • 1/2 tsp. orange zest
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Sift the powdered sugar, ground cardamom, and cocoa powder into a bowl using a fine sieve. Bring the milk to a boil in a separate saucepan over medium heat. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the cocoa mixture, and whisk until smooth.
  2. Pour the cocoa into 6 mugs. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with lemon zest.
