Typically, a latte consists of coffee, warm milk, and a layer of foamed milk. A Latte Mochaccino is made with cocoa and is a favorite among chocolate lovers.


Ingredients:

  • 2 coffee cups strong French roast coffee, filled 3/4 full
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • Cocoa in a clean salt shaker
  • You will need an immersion blender.
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Brew strong French coffee or espresso in a coffee pot. Heat whole milk in a small saucepan and add cocoa. Pour the coffee into two large coffee cups, filling them 3/4 full. While the milk is boiling, use an immersion mixer on high speed to whip up the foam and stir in the cocoa. When the "chocolate milk" has a beautiful foamy head, carefully pour the milk into the coffee cup, spooning the foam on top.
  • Step 2
  • Sprinkle with cocoa.
