Oatmeal cooked in spiced milk, topped with strong espresso and topped with granola – a complete breakfast and coffee in one cup, perfect for on-the-go or enjoying on a lazy Saturday morning.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 5.5 cups of milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 4 shots of warm espresso
  • 4 tbsp. granola

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the milk to a simmer, then add the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Whisk the milk until foamy, then add the oats. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth, about 2.5 minutes.
  2. Pour the hot mixture into 4 mugs. Stir a shot (50-90 ml) of espresso into each mug and top with 1 tablespoon of granola.
