Beer Margarita with pepper and smoke - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 60 ml. (4 tbsp) tequila
  • 1 fresh Fresno chili pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 limes
  • 1/2 tsp finely grated dried lemon zest, optional
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water
  • 2 small pinches of cayenne pepper
  • 4 drops of liquid smoke
  • One bottle (330 ml) of light beer
  • 1 seedless cucumber, quartered lengthwise

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Cut 1 lime into wedges. Juice the second lime. In a small bowl, combine the dried lemon zest with 1 tablespoon of salt.

    Wet the rims of two glasses with lime. Dip them in a mixture of lemon zest and salt.

    Place 1/2 teaspoon of sugar in each glass. Add 5 slices of chili pepper. Using the end of a wooden spoon, crush the chili peppers into the sugar.
  2. Fill each glass with ice. Pour in 30 ml (2 tbsp) of tequila. Then add 1/4 cup of club soda, 1 tbsp of lime juice, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and 2 drops of liquid smoke. Stir lightly.

    Top with 1/2 bottle of beer. Garnish with a cucumber slice and lime wedge. Serve immediately.
