The best way to make an omelet for a large crowd is to bake it in the oven in a large baking dish or in small ramekins. The oven will help the omelet rise well, creating a fluffy, velvety, and appealing appearance. The addition of ground sausage, bell peppers, and Swiss Gruyère cheese makes this omelet very filling, delicious, and truly special. It's quite simple to prepare: simply fry the ground sausage and onion, mix all the ingredients with a beaten egg, and bake.
