To transform an ordinary omelet into a special breakfast, fry it in a Belgian waffle iron! Add chopped ham and grated cheese to beaten eggs and pour the mixture onto preheated waffle iron plates. A delicious, fluffy omelet will be ready in minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 slice of ham
  • 2 tbsp. l. grated mozzarella
  • Cooking spray to spray the waffle iron
  • Special equipment: waffle iron
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Preheat waffle iron to medium heat according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Step 2
  • Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk. Cut the ham into pieces, then mix the ham and cheese with the eggs.
  • Step 3
  • Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray and add the egg mixture. Close the lid and cook for about 4 minutes.
