Fresh vegetables with a dipping sauce are a healthy and delicious appetizer that will be a hit at friendly gatherings. Arrange radishes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and carrots, lightly steamed asparagus, and green beans on a platter. Place a bowl of garlicky green pea aioli in the center. Blanched peas, blended in a food processor with the other ingredients, give the sauce a wonderful velvety texture. Dip the crunchy vegetables in it and enjoy the refreshing flavor of this appetizer.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 small cloves of garlic
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped dill
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Vegetable platter: for example, steamed asparagus and green beans, sliced ​​bell peppers, radishes, carrots, cucumbers

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil. Add the peas and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse under cold water.
  2. Turn on the food processor and add the garlic until finely chopped. Add the peas, mayonnaise, lemon, olive oil, dill, cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and black pepper and process until smooth.

  3. Transfer the dipping sauce to a small bowl. Serve with vegetables for dipping.
