Sparkling peach tea is a wonderful invigorating, refreshing drink that brings joy on a hot summer day. This drink is prepared in large batches and is perfect for fun house parties. Iced black tea is mixed in a pitcher with a sweet peach base, and the cocktail is topped with Prosecco before serving. Its tart flavor harmoniously balances the peach sweetness. To ensure the drink delivers its full flavor to the last drop, fill it with this same iced tea cubes instead of regular ice.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 3 bags of black tea, such as orange pekoe
- 3 bags of peach herbal tea
- 1 large peach, pitted and sliced
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1.5 cups chilled prosecco
- Lemon wedges, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Prepare sugar syrupPlace the sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool completely. Yield: approximately 1.5 cups. Store any leftover syrup, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
- Make some teaSteep all the tea bags in 3 cups of hot water for 10 minutes. Then remove the bags and add 2 cups of cold water. Place the chopped peach in a blender, add 3/4 cup of sugar syrup and lemon juice, and blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve. Combine the peach mixture with the iced tea. Pour half of the peach tea into ice cube trays and freeze. Refrigerate the remaining peach tea.
- Fill 6 tall glasses with tea ice cubes. Pour the peach tea evenly into the glasses. Top each serving with Prosecco and a lemon wedge. Serve with avocado wedges stuffed with salsa.
