Iced tea lovers will love this adult take on the beloved drink. A splash of bourbon transforms this refreshing peach tea into a relaxing summer cocktail. This recipe uses natural homemade peach nectar. Any leftovers can be enjoyed as juice.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Cocktail

  • 4 cups sweet tea (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp. peach nectar
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 4 lemon wedges, for serving
  • 4 sprigs of mint, for garnish

Peach nectar

  • 3 cups frozen peaches, thawed
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • Special equipment: blender

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine tea, peach nectar and bourbon in a pitcher filled with ice.
  2. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with a lemon wedge and a sprig of mint.

    Peach nectar:
    Output: 1 l.

    Combine the peaches, 2 cups of water, lemon juice, and sugar (if using) in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the peach nectar through a fine sieve. Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
