Blackberry Iced Tea with Bourbon - A Detailed Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 cups fresh blackberries
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint, plus mint leaves for garnish
  • 6 bags of black tea
  • Bourbon, to taste

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine blackberries, sugar, and mint in a large bowl. Puree the berries with an immersion blender until smooth, then let steep.
  2. Bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and pour the hot tea over the blackberries. Let the mixture steep at room temperature for 1 hour. Then strain the blackberry tea and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  3. Fill tall glasses with ice, pour in blackberry tea, and add bourbon to taste. Garnish with mint leaves.
