Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine blackberries, sugar, and mint in a large bowl. Puree the berries with an immersion blender until smooth, then let steep.
- Bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and pour the hot tea over the blackberries. Let the mixture steep at room temperature for 1 hour. Then strain the blackberry tea and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Fill tall glasses with ice, pour in blackberry tea, and add bourbon to taste. Garnish with mint leaves.
