Splash cocktail with beer and bourbon - detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • Two bottles (330 ml each) of wheat beer, chilled
  • One bottle (330 ml) of lemon sparkling water, chilled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1.5 cups bourbon
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 10 dashes of bitters
  • Lemon twists, for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Combine sugar and 1/4 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Cool the syrup. Meanwhile, chill 6 cups of rock candy in the freezer.
  • Step 2
  • In a large pitcher, combine bourbon, lemon juice, bitters, and chilled syrup. Add beer and stir.

    Pour the cocktail into chilled glasses filled with ice. Top with lemon soda and garnish with lemon zest swirls.
