Enjoy the combination of rye whiskey and sweet peach nectar in this refreshing cocktail. Add frozen peaches for garnish, mint, and lemon juice, and you've got a perfect summer cocktail!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • Crushed ice
  • 60-75 ml of rye whiskey
  • 75 ml. peach nectar
  • A drop of bitters
  • About 5 frozen peach wedges, halved
  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves, coarsely chopped
  • 1 lemon wedge

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Fill a large wine glass with crushed ice.
  2. Gently combine whiskey, peach nectar, a splash of bitters, peaches, mint, and a squeeze of lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Strain over ice in a glass and serve chilled.

    Note

    The whiskey flavor may be strong at first, but as the ice and fruit melt, the cocktail turns into a light summer drink.
