Thinly sliced chicken fingers are coated in a mixture of breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, olive oil, and crushed pepperoni sausage to ensure everything adheres well, and then baked in the oven until golden brown. For the ultimate pizza experience, dip the chicken fingers in warm marinara sauce with melty mozzarella and enjoy.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Chicken fingers
- 90 g sliced pepperoni sausage (about 0.5 cup)
- 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, each cut into 8 strips
Dip sauce
- 1 tbsp. marinara sauce
- 1/4 tbsp. grated mozzarella (about 30 gr.)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a food processor, puree the pepperoni until finely chopped. Transfer to a shallow bowl and toss with Italian seasoning, breadcrumbs, and olive oil. In a separate shallow bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt.
- Prepare chicken fingersPlace a wire rack on a baking sheet; spray with cooking spray. Place the chicken in the egg mixture and toss to coat completely. Remove the chicken pieces from the egg mixture, shaking off any excess, and roll them in the pepperoni mixture. breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to ensure the breading adheres. Place the strips on the prepared rack and spray generously with cooking spray. Bake until cooked through and golden brown, 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the dipping sauce.In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the marinara sauce and mozzarella. Just before serving, microwave in 30-second intervals until the sauce is heated through and the cheese is melted. Stir and serve with the chicken fingers.
