Time: 10 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 10 crisps

Fragrant, crispy Parmesan crisps will transform any dish into a sophisticated treat, just like at a restaurant. Use them to garnish soups, salads, main courses, or simply serve as an appetizer with wine. To prepare, all you need is high-quality, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a silicone mat (or a silicone baking sheet). The cheese bakes in mounds, turning into thin, lacy crisps in the oven. After cooling, they will become crisp and crunchy. Dip them into sauces.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 0.5 tbsp. grated parmesan

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Place 1 heaping tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese on a silicone mat or parchment-lined baking sheet and press it down lightly. A silicone baking mat is highly recommended. Repeat with the remaining cheese, spacing the mounds about 1 cm apart.

  3. Bake for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
