Garlic Potato Chips - A Detailed Recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 2 large red potatoes, peeled if desired
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Vegetable oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Sauté the garlic in a skillet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Cool, then strain through a sieve.
  • Step 2
  • Thinly slice the potatoes, rinse under cold water, and pat dry. Toss the potatoes with garlic oil and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on greased baking sheets.
  • Step 3
  • Fry the potato chips in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool completely.
