Chips with tzatziki sauce - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Dip sauce

  • 2 packs (200 g) Greek yogurt
  • 1 greenhouse cucumber, peeled and seeded
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1.5 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the yogurt in a medium bowl. Grate the cucumber and squeeze it with your hands to remove excess liquid. Add the cucumber to the yogurt along with the sour cream, lemon juice, vinegar, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Serve with pita chips.

    Pita chips: Preheat a gas or charcoal grill. Brush the pitas with olive oil and toast them on both sides.
