Potato chips are a favorite among many. It's entirely possible to make this crunchy snack at home. All you need is a deep fryer and a few spices. A potato grater, which allows you to shred the potatoes into thin slices, will also come in handy.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Chips
- 700 g of potatoes
- Vegetable peanut oil for frying
BBQ spice mix
- 1.5 cups paprika
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 and 3/4 tbsp onion powder
- Mix all ingredients

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Heat peanut oil in a deep fryer to 190°C.
- Peel the potatoes and slice them very thinly, 0.3 cm thick, using a mandoline with a smooth-cut blade. Keep the sliced potatoes in very cold water until you're ready to fry the entire batch. Drain the potatoes in a colander and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Fry the potatoes in batches for 3-4 minutes. Once golden brown, remove them from the fryer and place them on a paper towel-lined baking sheet to absorb excess oil. Immediately season with salt, pepper, and barbecue seasoning to taste.
