The refreshing Margarita cocktail is incredibly popular at house parties. This recipe suggests making it for a large crowd. In addition to its traditional ingredients—tequila, triple sec, and lime juice—it also includes lemon juice, creating a truly citrusy and refreshing taste. To serve, garnish the rims of Margarita glasses with salt and fill them with the well-chilled cocktail.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 lime, cut in half
  • 0.5 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (5 pcs.)
  • 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 pc.)
  • 1 tbsp. triple sec liqueur
  • 1 cup white tequila
  • 2 cups ice + extra for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. If you prefer a salt-rimmed margarita, rub the rims of six glasses with a lime wedge and dip the rim of each glass in a bowl of coarse salt.
  2. Combine lime juice, lemon juice, triple sec, tequila, and ice in a blender and shake well. Add extra ice to a cocktail shaker. Fill with the cocktail, shake well, and strain into glasses.
