Canapes with mushrooms and brie cheese - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3 cups chopped fresh oyster mushrooms or champignons
  • 240 g Brie or Camembert cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh green onions
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 12 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
  • A pinch of paprika
  • Chopped fresh green onions or fresh parsley
  • Ground red pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the mushrooms and onion for 2 minutes. Add the Brie cheese, wine, and cayenne pepper. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste. Then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cheese has melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to broil. Trim the crusts from the toast slices and cut each into quarters. Spread the cheese mixture on each slice. Place the canapés on a baking sheet and sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 3-5 minutes, until golden brown. Sprinkle with green onions or parsley and freshly ground peppercorns (pink and red).
