Fruit canapes with cheese and nuts - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 240 g Brie cheese, cut into 12 triangles
  • 1.5 tbsp (75 g) butter
  • 1/4 cup finely crushed whole-grain cookies or unsweetened graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 3 tbsp. l. brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of ground ginger
  • 1 pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 12 slices of figs or other fruits (apple, pear, strawberry, apricot, etc.)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 210°C.
  2. Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave. Add the crushed cookies, nuts, brown sugar, and spices, and mix thoroughly.

  3. Dip the Brie cheese pieces in the beaten egg, then coat them in the breadcrumbs. Arrange the Brie cheese pieces on the fruit slices.
  4. Place the canapés on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake in the oven for 4 minutes, until the cheese has melted slightly and the breading is lightly golden and crispy. Serve the fruit canapés warm.
