For your next party, make these miniature sandwiches that will captivate your guests with their combination of flavors. Pumpernickel slices are served with wild boar sausage, sautéed wild mushrooms, green onions, and hot cherry peppers.


Ingredients:

  • 12 slices of cocktail pumpernickel
  • 100 g of mixed wild mushrooms
  • Jerky
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Sauté 100g of mixed wild mushrooms and some chopped chives in a frying pan with butter until softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 2
  • Place wild boar sausage (or other cured game meat) on 12 slices of cocktail pumpernickel. Top with mushrooms, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with chives and hot cherry pepper.
