Serve canned sardines as an appetizer with wine or beer, turning one can into two delicacies. Simply drain the oil from the sardines and toss it with chopped fresh parsley, pine nuts, honey, and lemon. This way, you'll have two distinct appetizers from a single can. This recipe uses sardines in plain oil, but you can try different flavors: there are sardines with lemon, tomatoes, chili peppers, or herbs. Experiment!

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
