Green chicken curry with couscous - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 4 skinless chicken breasts (about 150g each)
  • 1 cup prepared couscous
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 400 gr. coconut milk
  • 1 pod (115 g) chopped green chili pepper
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala (Indian spices)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Season the chicken on both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

    In a medium bowl, combine coconut milk, green chili, curry powder, garam masala, and cumin. Add the mixture to the chicken and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has partially evaporated. Squeeze in the lime juice. Place the couscous on a plate, top with the chicken, and sprinkle with cilantro.
