Chicken, Apple, and Curry Salad Club Sandwich - A Step-by-Step Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 350 g chicken breast, diced
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 shallots, chopped (white and green parts)
  • 1.5 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 medium apple, peeled and diced
  • 8 slices special whole grain sandwich bread

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cranberries, mayonnaise, walnuts, shallots, curry powder, and apple. Toss the salad thoroughly.

    Cut off all the crusts from the bread, you won't need them.
  2. Spread the chicken filling evenly on a slice of bread and top with a second slice. Using a bread knife, cut the sandwich along two diagonals to create four identical triangles. Repeat with the remaining bread and filling, making a total of 16 sandwiches.
