Banana pakoras with curry - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 4 bananas
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 2 cups crumbled cornflakes
  • Sugar for sprinkling, optional
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 230°C.

    Cut the bananas in half lengthwise, then crosswise. Mix the butter and curry powder in a bowl. Dip the bananas in the butter. Roll the bananas in the cornflakes until completely coated. Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.

    Place bananas in a greased baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
