Make your favorite meatball recipe and turn them into a flavorful Southeast Asian dish. All you need is coconut milk, green curry paste, and plenty of fresh cilantro. Just three ingredients, but the flavor is incredible! Warm the meatballs in a quick coconut curry sauce and enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup green curry paste
  • 4 cups coconut milk
  • 1.5 cups finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 800-900 g of cooked meatballs (about 60 pcs.)
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place the curry paste in a slow cooker, turn the heat to low and slowly stir in the coconut milk and 1 cup of cilantro.
  • Step 2
  • Add the meatballs and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly and the meatballs are heated through, 1 to 2 hours. When ready to serve, sprinkle the meatballs with the remaining 1/2 cup cilantro.
  • Step 3
  • To cook this dish in a cauldron, simmer, covered, over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly and the meatballs are heated through, 1 to 1.5 hours.
