Classic potato salad with celery - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 900 g of boiled potatoes, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 150 g Gouda cheese, cut into cubes
  • 150 g canned corn
  • Half a red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, cut into rings
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a salad bowl, combine apple cider vinegar, salt, sugar, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise. Stir in potatoes, cheese, corn, celery, red onion, and green onion.
