You've probably seen movies of American kids roasting marshmallows on sticks around a campfire. This is how they make the traditional American dessert, s'mores, a quick pastry made from graham crackers, campfire-roasted marshmallows, and milk chocolate. You can also add any other sweet fillings or toppings you like. This dessert was originally considered a typical camping treat. But many people loved it so much that they started making it at home on the grill or in the microwave. You can even find ready-made s'mores kits in stores. The name of the dessert is an abbreviation for "some more." And indeed, once you try a s'more, you won't be able to stop—it's so delicious.
