If you prefer a lighter, more tart flavor, you can serve the pickled vegetables immediately. Alternatively, let them marinate for a few days to develop a more intense flavor.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 cups of sliced ​​cucumbers
  • 450 g fresh okra
  • 1.5 cups white vinegar
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cups of pickling seasoning
  • Special equipment: 3 sterilized jars, 1 liter each.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
