For smoothies, prepare a base—fruit puree—that can be stored in the refrigerator for several days and added little by little to your glass of milk.

Recipe:
Blend 2 cups of thawed strawberries, peaches, or mixed berries with 3 tablespoons of unsweetened white grape juice concentrate in a blender. Stir about 1/3 cup of fruit puree into 1 cup of skim milk. Cover the remaining puree and refrigerate. It can be stored for up to 5 days.
