Chocolate milk with salt - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 cups of cold milk
  • Salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare chocolate syrup: Combine sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan. Place the saucepan on the stove and bring to a boil over medium heat. Then, whisking in the cocoa powder, stir until smooth. Remove the saucepan from the stove and stir in the vanilla extract. Then cool the chocolate syrup completely.
  2. Pour 2.5 tablespoons of chocolate syrup into each glass. Then add chilled milk, a pinch of salt, and stir until the syrup and salt dissolve.
