Golden milk with turmeric is a warming, healthy drink that helps boost immunity and fight colds in cold weather. It's made with lactose-free milk and, in addition to turmeric, contains ginger, black pepper, and cardamom. The taste is magical—a true pleasure for both body and soul!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk drink
  • 1 thinly sliced ​​fresh turmeric root
  • 1 (2.5 cm) fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 crushed cardamom pods

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a saucepan, mix 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk drink, 0.5 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.
  2. Add 1 thinly sliced ​​fresh turmeric root (5 cm), 1 thinly sliced ​​fresh ginger root (2.5 cm), 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and 2 crushed cardamom pods. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes. Strain, then sweeten the drink with honey.
