Italian panna cotta with fresh berries is the perfect light summer dessert. Its main ingredients are milk, cream, and gelatin. Unlike classic vanilla panna cotta, this version is flavored with honey and pairs equally harmoniously with assorted berries. To prepare the dessert, gelatin is dissolved in the cream mixture, which is then poured into glasses and allowed to set—it's incredibly simple! Serve each serving garnished with seasonal berries and fruits, and enjoy the silky texture and exquisite taste of this dessert.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Pour the milk into a small bowl. Add the gelatin. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes to soften the gelatin. Pour the milk mixture into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and stir over medium heat until the gelatin dissolves, but don't let the milk boil, about 5 minutes. Add the cream, honey, sugar, and salt. Stir until the sugar dissolves, 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat. Pour the mixture into six wine glasses, filling them only halfway. Cool slightly. Refrigerate until the panna cotta is completely set, at least 6 hours.

Place berries on top and serve.
