Make these soft candies for the holidays, made from crushed cookies, condensed milk, chocolate, and rum, with prunes added for a rich flavor. If desired, roll them in coarse sugar of any color. The longer you soak the balls, the more intense the rum flavor will be.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
  • 20 chocolate wafer cookies
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped prunes
  • 1/4 cup rum
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine 1 cup melted semisweet chocolate, 20 crushed chocolate wafer cookies, 1/2 cup finely chopped prunes, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup rum, and 1/4 cup condensed milk. Refrigerate until completely set, then form into small balls. Roll in decorative sugar.
